Alice McLean

Alice is a Senior Associate with Carr Legal Group. She is a solicitor with 17 years’ post-admission experience across both private practice and the public sector. Having spent the majority of her career in regional New South Wales, Alice understands the importance of providing practical, straightforward advice and building trusted relationships with her clients.

Her love of the law began by spending school holidays watching her grandfather in Court where he was a District Court Judge. She then worked at the DPP and the Children's Services Tribunal whilst completing her law degree at Queensland University of Technology.

Alice has experience across a broad range of matters, including wills and estates, property law, criminal law, civil and commercial litigation, employment law, family law and dispute resolution.

Known for her approachable and down-to-earth manner, Alice particularly enjoys helping clients when they need it most. She particularly understands that needing a solicitor can often arise unexpectedly and at a time of considerable stress and uncertainty. She is able to put clients at ease, make sense of their situation and find a clear way forward.

Outside of work, Alice can be found gardening, undertaking DIY home renovations, wandering around Bunnings looking dazed and confused, fossicking at garage sales, knitting and ferrying around her brood of children to various sporting events. Not all at the same time of course.
